Greetings for KONE

In 2024, the Greetings for KONE campaign began, and this year it continues in a slightly different form. Last year, we attached the same open letter to all of our grant applications. This year, we encourage those applying for grants from the Kone Foundation to include a free-form letter — their own greetings to KONE Corporation — with their application.

KONE Corporation is an elevator manufacturing company that also operates in Israel. Despite the genocide of Palestinians, KONE Corporation has not announced that it will cease its operations in Israel.

The Kone Foundation owns shares in KONE Corporation, and they deliver the messages from the appeals included in grant applications to KONE Corporation. The Kone Foundation directly and indirectly owns about 11% of KONE Corporation’s shares.
